What kind of bikes are welcome at Roxtreme?
There is no kind of bike that we do not allow, as long as it is human powered. But, we do have some rules about the bikes them selves. See our bike rules page.
We expect to see almost exclusively BMX and mountain bikes., but as they gain popularity we would also expect to see other style of bikes.
BMX Types & Disciplines:
BMX bike categories: Standard, Freestyle, Cruiser, Mini,
Disciplines: Racing, Freestyle, Ramp, Park, Dirt, Vert, Flat Land, Street, Urban
Note: BMX bikes are not toys and with the success of the X and Dew Games BMX riding is on the rise. Did you know that BMX biking was ranked 4th overall in youth sports participation ahead of Football! Also you may have noticed...BMX racing was in the 2008 Olympic Games!
Mountain Bike Types & Disciplines:
Mountain bike categories: Fully Rigid, Hardtail,
Soft tail, Dual or Full Suspension.
Disciplines: Cross Country (XC), Enduro/All-Mountain
(AM), Freeride (FR), Downhill (DH), Trials, Dirt Jumping,
Single-speed, Mountain Cross, Dual Slalom (DS), North Shore
